A four-bedroom contemporary house in St John's Wood, NW8, was one of the stand-out sales at Savills' July sale, where the auctioneer blamed a slow market for a success rate of 63%.
Savills sold the three-storey property (pictured) – complete with roof terrace, internal courtyard and secure double underground garage – which receives annual income of £96,200, for £1.9m, which was an increase of £200,000 on the guide price.
However, Savills said it was slow going. In total, the auctioneer sold 82 of the 131 lots offered, raising £26.5m.
