Infrastructure Investments has appointed Beachrock to sell a central London purpose-built student accommodation scheme for offers over £60m.
The 208-bed scheme, at Willen House, 8-26 Bath Street, EC1, will be completed in 2025.
It is located close to Bayes Business School and City University, London.
The project will extend the existing PBSA building with additional floors, and include 6,000 sq ft of external and internal amenity space.
James Pullan, partner at Beachrock, told EG: “The PBSA investment class has outperformed traditional property sectors. UK and international investors are attracted by a residential sector underpinned by higher education.
“The office and retail markets are desperately trying to fill vacant space but the UK PBSA sector is courting sovereign wealth and pension fund investment to fully let buildings.”
