Japan’s SoftBank is reportedly considering the purchase of a majority stake in WeWork, in a deal that could involve up to $20bn of (£15.2bn) investment.
Softbank is mulling an investment of between $15bn and $20bn in the shared workspace company through its landmark Vision Fund, according to the Wall Street Journal.
Vision Fund previously invested $4.4bn in WeWork last year, $1.4bn of which was allocated to its expansion strategy in China, Japan and Southeast Asia.
