St Modwen and Halton borough council have been granted planning consent for a 60-bedroom Premier Inn at the £10m Venture Fields leisure scheme in the Widnes Waterfront regeneration area of Widnes, Cheshire.
The four-storey hotel will include an adjoining 7,500 sq ft Brewers Fayre restaurant.
Venture Fields is more than 95% prelet, with occupiers including a five-screen cinema, a bowling alley, an ice rink and a restaurant.
The scheme will open in autumn 2011.
Richard Bakes, development manager with St Modwen, said: “The hotel will make a significant contribution to the leisure complex and the on-going regeneration at Widnes Waterfront.”
