Law firm Stewarts is under offer to take an additional 22,000 sq ft at Land Securities’ 5 New Street Square, EC4.
The company will pay a rent in the region of £58.50 per sq ft.
Stewarts already occupies around 36,000 sq ft in the building on the 8th and 11th floors.
The 240,000 sq ft scheme is multilet to tenants including law firm Taylor Wessing, which agreed a 17-year lease for 106,000 sq ft in 2006, paying a rent of around £47 per sq ft.
JLL acted for Land Securities, Hexell Wylie acted for Stewarts.
All parties declined to comment.
