Telegraph appoints agent for office search

Telegraph Media Group has appointed CBRE to find it a new headquarters.

The publisher of national newspapers The Telegraph and The Sunday Telegraph is looking for up to 120,000 sq ft in the West End or west London.

It will be the newspapers’ fourth move in just over 30 years, having moved from Fleet Street, EC4, to the Isle of Dogs, E14, in 1987, then to One Canada Square, E14, in 1991 before it headed to Victoria in 2006, where it currently occupies more than 100,000 sq ft at 111 Buckingham Palace Road, SW1.

Kennedy Wilson UK has owned the long leasehold on the building since 2014, having paid around £207m to previous owner Green Property for the 232,000 sq ft block.

CBRE declined to comment.
