Various Eateries has hired Sharon Badelek as its new chief financial officer.
The owner of Coppa Club, Tavolino and Noci said Badelek would replace James Darwent, who has acted as interim CFO since 11 November 2022, in April.
Badelek was recently CFO at RedCat Pub Company, and was instrumental in acquiring 110 pubs in a 12-month period.
She was previously CFO at retirement home developer Inspired Villages Group, and CFO and later chief executive at London pub and club operator Novus Leisure.
Earlier in her career, she was UK finance director and later group finance director at Vue Entertainment.
Executive chair Andy Bassadone said: “Sharon has an impressive track record in scaling customer-centric businesses in our industry and I have no doubt the knowledge and experience she has built over several decades of good and bad markets will be of great benefit to Various Eateries as we pursue our growth ambitions.”
