Plans for the scheme, situated in Wembley town centre, include an 86-bedroom Travelodge hotel with a bar/restaurant, 29,000 sq ft of shops, 38 flats and an improved entrance to Wembley Central’s Tube and train station.
Construction will begin this summer, with completion expected in 2013.
The total Wembley Central development will provide 155,000 sq ft of retail and leisure space. To date the scheme has already provided 23,000 sq ft of offices, and flats.
Killian Morris, development manager at St Modwen, said: “This final phase, boosted by the recent deal with Travelodge, is already attracting the attention of retailers and leisure operators keen to see their brands represented in the transformed Wembley town centre.”
