WeWork and SoftBank have launched a programme to help underrepresented start-up founders to help accelerate diversity in the tech space.
The eight-week Emerge programme will provide 14 early-stage start-up founders with the tools and access needed to scale their business.
The start-up founders will go through a mentorship programme, attend online workshops, gain access to SoftBank executives, and present their business model to industry investors.
Jeff Housenbold, managing partner at SoftBank, said: “The Emerge program brings together an exceptional cohort of founders who have been selected for their vision, creativity and potential to solve complex world problems.”
