London flexible office provider Workspace has revealed lettings and enquiries in March exceeded pre-pandemic levels.
Workspace has seen activity climb over the final quarter of the financial year, rising to 150 lettings and 1,172 enquiries in March.
This compares with a monthly average of 117 lettings and 1,128 enquiries in Q4 2019/20.
Lower levels in January pulled the quarterly average down to 111 lettings and 910 enquiries.
Workspace said new customer demand had picked up, despite lockdown. It added that momentum had continued into the new financial year.
At the end of March, customer occupancy had reached 20% of pre-Covid lettings, rising to 30% at the end of April.
Workspace has collected 92% of rent due for the fourth quarter and 84% of the first quarter of 2021/22.
Chief executive Graham Clemett said: “It has become obvious that the pandemic is creating a new paradigm in the way people work.
“It is early days, but with increasing demand and a reduction in customers vacating, we are now seeing occupancy stabilise and anticipate a recovery in occupancy levels at our centres during the current financial year.”
